Deep within the marshlands, where reeds dance in the breeze, resides KT, a fearsome crocodile ruling his domain with gnashing teeth and an insatiable appetite. But fate has a peculiar sense of humor, and KT’s ferocious ways are about to be challenged by an unexpected encounter.
Enter Sri Sri Bimalananda, a wise and gentle Sadhu, whose serene presence and profound teachings will nudge KT on a path of transformation, replacing the hunter with a being of compassion.
This poem, “Croc Tales: The Crocodile’s Compassion: A Marshy Tale of Transformation”, chronicles KT’s remarkable journey, a testament to the transformative power of wisdom and empathy.

In the land of swampy waters, where the cattails sway,
Lived KT the crocodile, in his own fierce way.
With teeth sharp as knives, and a hunger for meat,
He roamed the marshes, never missing a beat.

But fate had a plan, a twist in the tale,
For one day he met, a wise Sadhu, so frail.
Sri Sri Bimalananda, with eyes serene and calm,
Preached the sanctity of life, like a soothing balm.

With a beard flowing like rivers, and eyes full of grace,
Sadhu Bimalananda, in his sacred space.
He spoke of oneness, in a language pure and clear,
Guiding KT gently, away from fear.

His wisdom flowed like currents, in the river’s flow,
As he shared the secrets, that only sages know.
In his presence, KT felt a deep, profound peace,
As the Sadhu’s teachings, like sweet nectar, never cease.

“All beings are sacred, from the ant to the tree,
Even the soil beneath us, holds life, can’t you see?
While meat may sustain, it’s plants that give life,
Their simplicity nourishes, amidst earthly strife.”

KT listened intently, his heart feeling stirred,
As the Sadhu’s words resonated, like a melodious bird.
He vowed then and there, to change his diet’s course,
To honor all life, with a gentle, compassionate force.

So KT bid farewell, to his meaty feast,
Embracing leaves and fruits, as his new culinary priest.
MMT, his wife, welcomed the change with ease,
But RockyT, his son, was shaken, brought to his knees.

“Mummy, Daddy’s lost it, his mind’s gone astray!
We must seek help, without delay!”
To Doc8Arm they rushed, with worries aplenty,
Hoping for a cure, to make things less bendy.

But to their surprise, the Doc had his own twist,
“I’m sorry, my friends, but my views have shifted in the mist.
I’ve turned to veganism, to honor all life’s song,
For compassion and empathy, in my heart, belong.”

And so in the marshes, where the waters flow,
KT the crocodile, with his newfound glow,
Became a beacon of change, for all creatures to see,
That with love and understanding, we can all live free.
