In the eyes of a child, the stars are not just distant lights but doorways to infinite wonders. Their innocent curiosity mirrors the deepest desires of humanity—to know, to understand, to reach beyond what can be seen.
This poem is a reflection of that boundless curiosity, inviting us to view the universe not through the lens of certainty, but through the wide-eyed wonder of children.
Here, the stars become storytellers, guiding us with their light, as we ponder dreams, questions, and the mysteries they reveal.

Do stars cradle wishes like jars of light,
Overflowing with dreams from every night?
Are they more than lanterns, scattered wide,
Guiding the lost with an ancient tide?

If clouds are pillows for the sky,
Do they catch tears when angels cry?
Do they hum with lullabies of old,
Cradling secrets yet untold?

Is each twinkle a stone we cast,
Rippling through the present and past?
Are stars the seeds of cosmic trees,
Blooming on an eternal breeze?

Do they remember time’s first spark,
When darkness gave birth to the arc?
Do they hold the stories of man,
Written in constellations’ plan?

If I could touch their burning grace,
Would I see my future’s face?
Or would I find, in that searing glow,
Reflections of all I’ll ever know?

Is starlight the ink of our fate,
Drawn by a hand that never waits?
Do we, like stars, burn bright and free,
Or are we bound by what we see?

And when we gaze at stars so far,
Do they wonder who we are?
Are we the dust they shed in time,
Or the echoes of their rhyme?

As dawn silences the stars, their light lingers in the hearts of those who still ask, “What lies beyond?”
Children, with their unquenchable thirst for knowledge and innocent wonder, remind us that the pursuit of understanding is an eternal one.
The cosmos invites all of us—young and old—to keep seeking, to keep dreaming, and to never lose the curiosity that connects us to the vast unknown.
The stars, like children, hold the essence of discovery, and it is in this endless pursuit of light and truth that we find our place in the universe.
