REQUIEM FOR THE SPLATTERED CHILD…

[STROPHE 1 – Strings scream, brass snarl]
She lies splattered, a blob of paint on the bed,
Her head in the clouds with the wandering dead.
A child in her teens, her body a wreck,
A dozen diseases claw deep in her neck.

Antibiotics choke the fire in her veins,
But the Lord only knows what still remains.
Psychotic rivers pumped day after day,
To force the submission they demand she obey.

[REFRAIN – Full orchestra + off-stage band, ff]
Night after night, twenty monsters and more,
Pay bloody premiums to tear through her core!
She breathes, her chest heaves, but her soul screams for sleep—
Eternal black slumber where the horrors won’t creep!

[STROPHE 2 – Woodwinds wail in thirds]
Slim, fair, long-haired, a model’s grace in her frame,
In another world she’d have walked halls of fame.
But this is a hell-hole, a cage without key,
Death is the only door left to flee.

In shadows she lies, a fragile lost thing,
A child stolen where innocence used to sing.
Her body a canvas, ripped, scarred, and defiled,
A story of horror screamed loud by a child.

[REFRAIN – Choir of brass + timpani rolls]
Night after night, twenty monsters and more,
Pay bloody premiums to tear through her core!
She breathes, her chest heaves, but her soul screams for sleep—
Eternal black slumber where the horrors won’t creep!

[BRIDGE – Solo trombone weeps, strings tremolo]
Fair skin and long hair, a beauty untold,
A future now sold for a fistful of gold.
Disease in her veins, a cocktail of dread,
Suppressing the screams that she swallows instead.

[STROPHE 3 – Full fury, cymbal crashes]
This “fallen woman”—a cruel, mocking phrase,
A victim of monsters in a blood-haze maze.
She could be your daughter, your sister, your friend,
A life so perverted that never should end.

For every visit, a life cast aside,
A soul shattered, left nowhere to hide.
These men buy their pleasure with coins stained with sin,
But the cost is a child—the battle begins!

[REFRAIN – Orchestra + off-stage band + organ, fff]
Let conscience ignite like a fire so bright!
Break every chain and shatter the night!
Stop the demand, the engine of greed—
No daughter, no sister, deserves such a seed!

[STROPHE 4 – Choir enters, distant, then roaring]
Our choices define us, the power we hold,
To end human trafficking—a story retold.
Expose every client, the monsters who feed,
On innocence shattered, a horrific deed.

For traffickers’ cruelty, a harshest decree,
Let empires of evil collapse to their knees.
No haven for monsters, no shadows to hide—
Justice will hunt them till the end of all tide!

[FINAL REFRAIN – Mahler’s final cataclysm, full forces]
This brutal trade—let it wither and fade!
Let hope be reborn in a world unafraid!
For every child lost, a fight we must wage—
Turn back the tide and burn down the cage!

[CODA – Solo tenor, a cappella, then orchestra dies]
See the truth in her eyes…
And fight with all your might.
