The Rider of Eternal Winds: A Dance Between Life and Death

In a fast-paced world, the rider and horse symbolize the transient nature of existence, representing the cycles of creation and destruction while reflecting the emotions of life and the inevitable silence that follows.

This imagery reinterprets Death as a symbol of both ends and new beginnings, emphasizing the connection between the mortal soul and destiny. It reflects on the duality of fear and surrender, exploring the transient nature of life and the beauty found within this ephemerality.

This poem encourages readers to face their fear of endings gracefully, portraying Death as a friend rather than an enemy, ultimately questioning if it is simply the final stanza in life’s song.

Beneath twilight skies, the rider descends,
A ripple through stars, where the infinite bends.
With hands of mist, and scythe aglow,
He gathers the souls from the winds that blow.

We cower in shadows, afraid of his gaze,
Yet through veiled silence, his message stays;
“Not all endings are steeped in night,
For ashes bloom under soft moonlight.”

O rider of winds, take me, I plead;
Beyond the walls where desires bleed.
Let me dissolve like rivers in rain,
To be born again in joy, or in pain.

Together we ride through sorrow and bliss,
A fleeting caress, a lover’s last kiss.
Through fields of gold, through nights so stark,
We wander as one through light and dark.

I shall be the lane where silence sleeps,
Where rivers curl and the cosmos weeps.
Like the Holy River Ganges embracing the moon’s soft glow,
I’ll rest by your side, wherever winds blow.

Bind me within your tresses tight,
A prisoner of dreams in endless night.
Together we’ll run, beyond sun or rain,
Tied for eternity; both pleasure and pain.

In the interplay of light and shadow, we realize that endings serve as gateways to new beginnings, where each breath embodies the potential for rebirth and transformation.

As we connect through shared moments, we become part of the cosmos, embracing life’s journeys and understanding that both joy and sorrow shape our existence, reminding us that every experience is meaningful.
