Echoes in the Mirror

[Verse 1]
In the hush before the light breaks wide,
Where shadows dance on the edge of why,
I chase the thread of what might have been,
A spark in the void, a fleeting dream.
No architect’s hand to carve the stone,
No dawn decree from a throne unknown—
Just this quiet pulse, this breath unbound,
Echoing secrets in the silence found.

[Chorus]
Oh, the mirror holds no face but mine,
Reflections weaving through the spine of time.
No maker’s mark on the endless sea,
Where I am the wave, and the wave is me.
Dissolve the line, let the question fade,
In the heart of seeing, the world’s remade—
One breath, one gaze, eternal and free,
The seer awakes, and the seen sets free.

[Verse 2]
Through the veil of night where forms dissolve,
No cradle of stars in the cosmic solve,
The mind spins tales of a birth long past,
But the clock unwinds in the die that’s cast.
What hand ignites the fire we call “now”?
What echo lingers when the dream allows
The sleeper to stir, and the world to cease—
Awareness alone in its boundless peace?

[Bridge]
Why seek the source in the river’s bend,
When the flow itself is the tale’s true end?
No separation in the dreamer’s art,
The canvas and painter, one beating heart.
Strip the illusion, the query’s thin veil,
And find the silence where questions fail—
Not born, not broken, forever the same,
The infinite playing its nameless game.

[Outro]
Oh, the mirror holds no face but mine,
Reflections weaving through the spine of time.
No maker’s mark on the endless sea,
Where I am the wave, and the wave is me.
Dissolve the line, let the question fade…
In the heart of seeing, the world’s remade.
