I feel a divine spark within me, yet external desires cloud my light. I yearn for a pure life that nurtures my body, mind, and spirit. This poem explores a sacred journey towards wholeness, highlighting the connection between well-being and the importance of honoring the earth, embracing a plant-based diet, and engaging with nature for healing.

Within this frame of flesh and bone,
A spark divine, a cosmic loan.
A flicker bright, a soulful art,
Sustained by purity of heart.

Yet, tainted by desires’ deep sea,
We dim our light, wild and free.
With every act of greed and hate,
We hasten on to mortal fate.

For ancient seers did wisely preach,
Of balance, peace, a soul’s true reach.
To nourish body, mind, and soul,
A sacred path, to make us whole.

From earth’s embrace, pure gifts unfold,
Uncooked and fresh, a story told.
Local bounty, nature’s art,
Heals the body, mends the heart.

No fire’s touch, no altered state,
Just nature’s essence, pure and great.
With every bite, a sacred vow,
To honour life, here and now.

Meat, a burden, complex and deep,
For body’s balance, a troubled sleep.
Let plants be our nourishment’s source,
A gentle path, without remorse.

In nature’s lap, a refuge find,
Where spirit soars, unchained by mind.
With every breath, a conscious plea,
To cleanse the self, wild and free.

Let food be pure, the earth’s own grace,
And discipline, life’s steady pace.
For in this simple, ancient way,
We find true health, come what may.
