The Quiet Embrace of Falling Rain

Rain symbolizes a deep connection between sky and earth, offering a gentle touch that evokes forgotten emotions within us. It conveys feelings of longing, surrender, and love, inviting us to experience stillness amid the soothing sound of falling drops.

This poem explores the tranquility of surrender and self-discovery within the universe, highlighting the significance of the present moment and the interconnectedness of all life, which fosters true peace and understanding.

She sits where shadows blend with light,
A quiet hymn of dark and white.
The night drapes soft on earthbound skin,
As drops dissolve the walls within.

The rain—a river from above,
Carries whispers of sorrow, love,
Of fleeting years and stolen breath,
Of life that slips too near to death.

No words she speaks, none would suffice,
To capture dreams that melt like ice.
Instead, she leans on nature’s sigh,
To weep or smile, though none knows why.

Her limbs stretch long, a sculptor’s grace,
Each curve a mark of time’s embrace.
The water pools beneath her feet,
And wraps her soul in something sweet.

She listens not to thunder’s might,
Nor seeks the moon, though it is bright.
She listens to the rain’s descent,
Each drop, a story heaven-sent.

In stillness rests her aching frame,
Unburdened now by guilt or name.
The rain, unjudging, knows her pain,
And holds her hand through night’s domain.

Her heart unbinds its endless fight,
A soft surrender to the night.
The rain may cease, and dawn may glow,
But some storms stay, as hearts well know.

Rain symbolizes nature’s beauty and our inner struggles, offering solace and strength through letting go, revealing deeper meanings in silence.

May we find solace in the rain, using its calming rhythm to connect with ourselves, release our burdens, and reconnect with our inner tranquility amidst life’s chaos.

  1. Aditya,

your penmanship is chiselling away like a porter’s. Revealing layers of your sensitive soul and your inner eye to Life’s struggles felt by us .

Such a poignant description of the philosophy.

    Its poetry within poetry.

The imagery, the rhythm in the lines, the depth of emotions that you make us dive into and out shall never make us feel th same about the rain again

We shall embrace rain through our skin soaked in its intimacy and understanding.

thanks and may Lord Saraswatii keep her grace
